Dream-Maker’s Magic
By: Sharon Shin
“The Dream-Maker’s Magic is exactly what its name implies - a magical tale where characters make their dreams come true. The story focuses on the simple joys of life in a fairy-tale-like kingdom, without the added flourishes of dragons and wizards and such. This makes it a refreshing break in a genre over-dramatized by Harry Potter. There is no “Dark Lord” here; instead the hero and heroine struggle and triumph over themselves, learning that an act of kindness has a magic of its own.”
