LIBRARY READ-A-THON

Saturday, February 11 @ 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Grab a book and spend the day reading at the library!
Prizes will be given for most pages and time spent reading as well as attendance prizes throughout the day.
Food welcome during the Read-A-Thon.

Learn about the artists Alexander Calder and Claude Monet and make artwork in the style of their masterpieces.

Have ideas for future events?  Suggestions on what to add to our collections?  Want your voice to be heard?  Come join the us and make a difference.

SCRAPBOOKING-JANUARY 12 @ 7PM

Come and make a couple of scrapbook pages with a Winter or Christmas theme.  Please bring about six of your own pictures, keeping that theme in mind, and everything else will be provided.  Sign up is required.

ART CLUB-JANUARY 17 & 31 @ 7PM

A local artist will be teaching different forms or art, including anime, still life, and more.  This is a beginner’s class.  Please bring your own artist tools.

CHOCOLATE EXTRAVAGANZA-JANUARY 28 @ 1PM
Chocolate lovers are welcome to come join us for a choc fest.  Chocolate fondue will be provided, please bring any tidbits you’d like to try and sample in it.  Chocolate comas are a risk.  Sign up is required

Anti-Valentine Event-Thursday, February 9th @ 7pm

If you’re not a big fan of Valentine’s Day, think Cupid should have his wings clipped, or just want to have fun come to our Anti-Valentine celebration.  Make Anti-Valentine (or Valentine’s) cards, pin mustache’s on famous couples, and vandalize romance novels.

Art Club-Tuesday, February 14th & 28th @ 7pm

Bleach Designs-Tuesday, February 21 @ 7pm

Come and use bleach pens to make a shirt uniquely designed by you.  Please bring a black or dark colored shirt of your own choosing that you wouldn’t mind getting bleached.

Photo Club-Thursday, February 23rd @ 4pm

Discover a new world through photography.  Share pictures you’ve taken previously as well as taking new ones of your choosing or of a theme that will be provided.  Please bring your own camera.
