Playaway Views have arrived at the Library!

Playaway View Collection is provided by the generous support of the Walmart Foundation through the Arnold, Gravois Bluffs and High Ridge Walmart stores.  

Meet Playaway View, the first and only pre-loaded video player.  Each View can hold multiple hours of digital video content while keeping with the Playaway promise of simple, portable and durable.

·         Pre-loaded with multiple videos

·         3.5” full color LCD screen

·         Built-in speaker and optional headphone jack

·         Rechargeable internal lithium-polymer battery provides over 8 hours of continuous play

·         Simple 7 button functionality

·         Weighs only 5.4 ounces

 Borrowing Rules and Fees

·         Adults (18 and over) may borrow Playaway Views.

·         Patrons may borrow a maximum of one Playaway View per card.

·         Lone Period:  14 days

·         Holds are allowed on Playaway Views.

·         Two renewals allowed for Playaway Views if there are no holds.

·         Overdue Fines:  25 cents/day ($10.00 maximum)

·         Charging Plug replacement fee:  $15.00

·         Playaway View Replacement fee:  $79.99 to $99.99

·         The library does not provide headphones/ear buds, but they may be purchased from the library.

·         Playaway Views may be returned at any Jefferson County Library branch.

·         The library does not recharge the batteries prior to checkout.
