JEFFERSON COUNTY LIBRARY PUBLIC SERVICES POLICY # PUB2004-05 PHOTOGRAPHING AND VIDEOTAPING ADOPTED: MAY 17, 2004
In order to protect the rights of individual Library patrons and staff, and to reduce distractions, photographing and videotaping on Library property are restricted as follows:

Prior permission from Library supervisory staff is required.

Under no circumstances may the public take photographs or videotape without the express permission of any Library patrons or staff who would be the primary subject within the composition.

Requests for permission to photograph or videotape for commercial purposes must be submitted to advance and in writing for review by the Library Director.
Photography or videography on Library property is generally permitted if it is for general Public Library promotion by the media, student projects, and/or strictly for personal use. |
